Doylestown Pride Featured in TeenVogue

This small town’s first Pride commemoration is a four-day festival, starting June 20 and ending June 23, according to the official event page. The event’s programming, conceived with the goal of “celebrating diverse sexual orientations and gender identities in the Doylestown community,” is the result of a collaborative effort amongst several local organizations, including several city government groups, as well as the Michener Art Museum, the Rainbow Room, and A Woman’s Place, “the only domestic violence community benefit organization” in the county. The opening event is a screening of Wild Nights With Emily, a feature film commemorating the poet Emily Dickinson’s once-secret relationship with Susan Ziegler.
