Doylestown Celebrates its first ever Pride Festival

04.20.2019

Doylestown welcomes its first-ever Pride Festival June 20-23, 2019. With the goal of celebrating diverse sexual orientations and gender identities in the Doylestown community, a collection of local organizations and businesses came together to create this local tradition. The three day event will feature a series of films at the County Theater, panel discussions, a block party on State Street, and various pop-up events and celebrations throughout the community.

In 2019, we will be honoring the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. Join us for a panel discussion on Sunday, June 23rd following the screening of the film Stonewall Uprising at the County Theater as we discuss the impact of the gay rights movement in the United States and around the world.

Doylestown Pride Festival is a collaborative effort between Doylestown Borough, Discover Doylestown, Delaware Valley University, A Woman’s Place, Michener Art Museum, The Rainbow Room, Salem United Church of Christ, Borough Council, and the Human Relations Commission.
