Celebrate Pride Week at the Michener Art Museum with a tour that explores the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community to the artistic history of our region. Long-time docent Steph Heilakka and Dale Scafuro will discuss how artist colonies in New Hope led to the development of Pennsylvania Impressionism and impacted acceptance and acknowledgment of new voices and perspectives. Join us for an exploration of how conversations of both the past and the present echo and parallel one another through art.

Drag and Draw

20 People Max (limit 2 registrations per person)

Drag royalty strikes a pose for this fun and informal Pride Week life-drawing session. No prior drawing experience is needed as Hannibal Lickher acts as muse and model for an unforgettable art experience. All materials are included. This event will take place in the Michener’s beautiful outdoor sculpture garden and is intended for adults.

Hannibal Lickher is your current reigning Mr. Philly Drag King. As a Non Binary Queer Drag King they’re paving the way for future drag. They currently reside in Philadelphia just searching for a nice chianti or posing as “Justin Bieber’s creepier look alike”, let them woo you into submission during their performance and become a Belieber.
