Doylestown Borough businesses and residents are encouraged to fly LGBTQ+ Pride flags, starting on June 1st, to show your support, and join in the spirit of Pride! The Pride Walk starts after the 6 pm flag raising, around 6:20 pm, from the old Courthouse lawn down Court to State, left up State through town, left on Pine, back to the old Courthouse. Get those Pride flags out!
LGBTQ Pride Month is almost here! Join us Tuesday, June 1st, 6-7pm at the old Bucks County Courthouse Lawn in Doylestown to cheer on the LGBTQ+ youth of The Rainbow Room as they raise the gorgeous, new, Progress Pride Flag on the County of Bucks flagpole to kick off Pride Month! We’ll also celebrate that Doylestown Borough is raising our town’s Pride flag at Court & Main, and in front of Borough Hall, on the same day.
Bring flags, friends, and family - ALL are welcome. Pride flags are for sale at Siren Records in Doylestown - proceeds benefit the Rainbow Room.
The short ceremony on June 1st will be immediately followed by a Pride Flag Walk through Doylestown Borough.
The Rainbow Room & LGBTQ+ youth have been targeted with an escalation of hateful attacks and bigotry recently, and we invite you to join us for this celebration of our brave and beautiful community. We will not cower in the face of these bullies. The message of Pride is more important than ever! Love Is Love. The Fight Continues...
Please wear a mask if not fully vaccinated. Free pride flags will be given to all participants! More info: [email protected]
